INTRODUCTION
Welcome and thank
you for visiting the website of Canadian author, Glenn Muller.
Stir together the
writing
styles of Clive Cussler, Linwood Barclay, and
Robert B. Parker, add a pinch of Sue Grafton, and Janet Evanovich and
you'll have the recipe for a Glenn Muller thriller. Laced with action,
humour, and characters that readers immediately relate to, Glenn's
stories revolve around ordinary folk being thrust into extraordinary
situations.
.
Fans of the crime-fiction and amateur sleuth genre will
enjoy the Fenn & Lareault series, or the short story, The
Letterhead Affair. In the same vein, if historical fiction is your thing, you'll want to read The Pipe Smoker's Cut. And, for those who crave more adventure
than
crime, the standalone techno-thriller, Boomerang, goes light on the
tech and keeps the pace moving.
A LITTLE BACKSTORY
Born in New Jersey,
USA,
Glenn spent his early formative years in
Lancashire, UK, then emigrated to Ontario, Canada, where he
would aquire Canadian citizenship. After graduating high
school and attending a college program for the hospitality industry,
Glenn worked in hotels until he moved into driver education. From
there, computer and accounting courses opened the way to starting a
successful bookkeeping business.
Not being musical or
artistic, writing has always been Glenn's creative
outlet. He has submitted book reports for a major magazine, a sports
column for a local newspaper, and articles for the monthly
journal of an astronomy club.
An avid reader, he
became
frustrated with all the plot
holes and poor writing found in supposedly professionally-written and edited
novels. So, in the mid-nineties, he challenged himself
to write a better book. At first, it was more of an experiment
than a serious undertaking, so there were several stops, starts, and
rewrites before the final draft of Torque
was published in 2013.
.
Having
cut his teeth, as they say, Glenn now produces a novel every couple of
years. His latest work, a historical mystery called The Pipe Smoker's Cut, was released on March 21st 2024.
He resides in
Chatham,
Ontario, Canada, with his wife, Gail, and Cooper
the doodle.
